The Sheriff's Office offered its Gang Resistance, Intervention, & Prevention Program for at-risk youth during the summer school break. Deputies engage the youth in both recreational and prevention activities designed to build bonds and relationships. The program is offered at multiple sites to eliminate transportation barriers and usually last 4-6 weeks.
